Conference – friends – road trip – sharing…

The Messenger Fellowship Conference has finished. Definitely some thoughts to ponder and trusting God to give us wisdom/inside how to implement them. Meeting friends for lunch and/or dinner – special moments. A road trip starting today and visiting some of our Mercy Ship friends – priceless. Sharing about the work in Haiti and Gods heart and hope for that Nation/the people – feeling honored. Never a dull moment when we try to live our lives in obedience. And i almost forgot … by the way… in a weeks time Rene will be running the Nashville 1/2. To those that are sponsoring him for ECCA – THANK YOU. For those that want to …. THANK YOU. If you are in the Nashville area and want to cheer him on … let me know 😉

Easter monday…

In the Netherlands this is still a holiday. Aafter a good weekend, with showing the “Jesus film” in Saturday and a Sunday filled with church and a christian concert, here in Hanti we will have our monthly distribution for the kids in the HFI child sponsorship program today. We are looking forward to seeing all 187 kids. Have a great week y’all. the best news is that HE whom we celebrated this weekend is still alive.

Easter weekend

Soon we are off to set up at Joseph’s church, where we will show “the Jesus movie for children”. Personally I love the one and a half hour version better then the adult version. It will be in the Kreyol language. All ages in the Sous Savanne area are invited. No idea how many will come as other churches have gatherings as well. Yet we felt we had give the opportunity for people to come and hear/see the Jesus story this weekend. Have an amazing “resurrection day” tomorrow.

Monday morning follow-up

As we wrote early this weekend, we started to help a family struggling, here some photos of the project. So grateful for the men in the village to help out and the “Haitian crew” who know the project because they normally work with us.  The Hope Shelter is almost done and we hope the family can use the place as of tomorrow. The health situation of the gentleman has not changed, for that we are sad. Thank you for following us in this part of village/community living…
